Join us as we prepare for our May 15 plant sale. We'll have our usual social time from 6:30-7:00 p.m., with snacks. Then, starting at 7 p.m., we'll be making plant sticks, price stickers and discussing layout for the plant sale. We'll also be working on signs, creating a tentative plant list and making a tentative list of equipment to loan, such as sleds, wagons and canopies. This is your opportunity to meet other like-minded organic gardeners. Our meeting will be held at Heritage Presbyterian Church on Kuhn Road in Carol Stream - newcomers are always welcome!

Join us Thursday, March 25, as Connie Bailey from The Growing Place in Naperville presents "Grow Your Own Edibles in Small Spaces." You'll get tips to save you money as you grow your own tomatoes and other vegetables tucked in with your perennials. What's better than a fresh-picked tomato, grown without harmful chemicals? You'll learn which plants to grow from seed and when to harvest. Check out Connie's Web site to learn more at www.thetownegardener.com. The meeting will be held at Winfield Community Bank in Winfield Point Shopping Center on Geneva Road (just east of County Farm Road). At 6:30 p.m. we'll have our informal "Chat and Chocolate" time, the business meeting will take place at 7:00 and the speaker's presentation will start about 7:15. We look forward to seeing you there!
We will have our annual plant sale May 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Carol Stream Village Town Center "visitor's center" area on the north end of the parking lot. Many plants from which to choose. Mark your calendar and hope to see you there!
